Bronx Deli opened up a second location in Farmington Hills adding a place to grab a delightfully large sandwich and beer. My family and I are habitual restaurant eaters; we love trying new places and supporting local businesses. When we chose Bronx Deli for our Friday night dinner, we all left with carryout boxes and full bellies.

For most of their deli sandwiches, you will pay around $11 for a large and a $8.50 for a small. A salad is around $10, but they are huge! The side dishes are worth the extra bucks… I highly recommend the garlic fries; they were incredible and will run you around $5. We started with the cheese sticks… two orders and they messed up and gave us a third (for free)… we ate them all. No joke, every last one. They make their own pastry to wrap around to gooey cheese. Heaven. Their wood fired pizzas looked incredible as we watched many get delivered to the tables around us which is around $10 and enough to share.
If you decide to wash down the grub with a draft beer or glass of wine, they have a full bar, which always seems to increase the bill a bit.
If you frequented this spot when it was a Leo’s Coney Island, you will be as surprised as I was with what they did to renovate the interior. The bar is huge and they did an excellent job opening it up and making it feel like a modern deli. We sat in a huge booth which had plenty of elbow room for all six of us. They also offer catering , carryout, and an order online option. If you follow them on Facebook, you can get updates including their soups of the day!
