When we were introduced to VOO Vodka, we went on a mission to convince our friends that it is the way to go when drinking vodka… anytime, anywhere! It is so clean, that even the anti- vodka drinker couldn’t deny its smooth flavor.
VOO Vodka is distilled and distributed right here in Michigan. It is distilled eight times versus the industry standard five times, which explains why there was no “burn” when you drink it.
VOO Vodka makes the perfect mixer in a cocktail:

Fine dining in Downtown Rochester has been taken to the next level by an architecturally fine spot on Walnut Boulevard. Although this 8,200 square foot house is nearly a century old, it has been converted into a Modern American restaurant inspired by French culinary tradition. We must give kudos to the extraordinary cuisine at Chapman House, however it is the vibe that completes the experience.

Comfortable patio in front.
More courtyard perfection.
Multiple options for private dining.
The menu selections vary with the seasons and availability. Everything is prepared with the freshest of ingredients that are available in the Great Lakes region.

Plates range from 8-13, sandwiches from 5-8 and a variety of soup, salad and sides all less than that. We ordered one plate and two sides and could hardly finish it all.
Comfy & cool, there’s plenty of space to accommodate the lunch crowd and those who prefer to grab carry out.
Over the weekend I was at the Eastern Market and came across the Stockyard food truck. I was intrigued by the unique sandwich combinations featured on their menu, so I decided to give it a try. When I got to the front of the line, I asked woman what her favorite sandwich was and she said the BLT Chorizo. So that’s what I went with it and all I can say is MMMMMMMMMMM!

The Stockyard food truck is all over the place. So the best thing to do it sign up for location updates on their website or follow them on social media.
Their menu will vary from time to time but here are the prices from the day that I visited.
The Stockyard menu.
The vibe at the Stockyard food truck was simple and delicious. I could tell everything on the menu was specifically there for a reason and the sandwiches we crafted with thought and intent. I highly recommend this truck when you are in the mood for a unique sandwich experience.

Tomatoes APIZZA introduced their Neapolitan style pizza to Farmington Hills in 1998 and have received rave reviews ever since…and after my visit, it is VERY easy to see why. Their pizza style may be different from what you are used to but I PROMISE you it’s worth trying. The flavorful, thin, chewy, crispy, slightly charred pie with fresh ingredients is beyond delicious and will keep you coming back for more!
The Naples Sampler.
Fresh is the first word that comes to mind when I think about La Marsa. I literally CRAVE the Mediterranean food at this restaurant constantly because it is healthy, flavorful and delicious.
