Tomatoes APIZZA introduced their Neapolitan style pizza to Farmington Hills in 1998 and have received rave reviews ever since…and after my visit, it is VERY easy to see why.  Their pizza style may be different from what you are used to but I PROMISE you it’s worth trying. The flavorful, thin, chewy, crispy, slightly charred pie with fresh ingredients is beyond delicious and will keep you coming back for more!

Growing up, Gaylord was a place my family visited frequently. I have great memories of cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents enjoying this beautiful town. One of my favorite parts of a Gaylord visit was shopping with the girls, followed by lunch at Diana’s Delight. We always ate there because of the delicious food, fresh baked goods and cheerful atmosphere. Recently, I was able to stop in at Diana’s Delight for the first time in years and it was BETTER than I had remembered.

Stella serves up coffee with character

During my last visit to the Fisher Theatre, I happen to come across Stella Good Coffee. As I was waiting for the musical to start, I was in dire need of a caffeine fix. So I popped in to order a latte, thinking Stella was going to be your typical coffee shop. But then I learned that not only does Stella serve up a delicious drink but their shop has as much history and character as the rest of the Fisher Building!

Coratti’s on Main

Main Street in Milford is home to many fabulous restaurants, but one of my long time favorites is a place created by a passionate, Italian brother- sister collaboration, Coratti’s on Main. From the fresh bread & homemade marinara to the pasta and sauces that are so perfect, you know they’re made from scratch, Coratti’s knows how to serve up a meal you will come back for!
